[edit] Hello!

Hi, welcome to my talk page. Feel free to post here, I just ask you to remain civil. ~ Arvan Swordwielder  talk  contribs  edits  email

[edit] Favicon

The mini-logo you asked about is a favicon. You can change it by uploading an image called favicon.ico. If you don't have software that can save an ico file, then chami.com is a useful site which can convert any image into a favicon. Angela@Wikia (talk) 18:21, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Sidebar

Nice work. Thanks so much for finding that out! Wolfdog: Narnia Wiki administrator 13:19, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] top bar

Hi -- the only way to put in the top bar is to set the skin to "custom"; that means it will have all blue elements (monaco-sapphire) until you reset each one. I went ahead and did it so you could see. If you want just the regular brick skin, you can change it back in your preferences. Or you can try to further customize the skin yourself -- there's a guide at help:Customizing Monaco. If you run into problems feel free to leave me another message! -- Wendy (talk) 19:15, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Try holding your shift key while hitting the reload button. It should clear your cache. Sometimes the skin/favicon take a little longer to be seen even with that trick, so you may have to be patient. Although I see the favicon now. -- Wendy (talk) 22:44, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
You'll just have to be patient and let the image servers catch up; the favicon can take several days to update for some people. I see the small blue grid box. -- Wendy (talk) 00:25, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Namespaces

What namespace do you want renamed? As far as I know a wikia staff person has to do it. -- Wendy (talk) 00:35, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Send an email about it to community@wikia.com. The staff have to make the change. -- Wendy (talk) 00:56, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] bots and users

As far as I know, if you want to run a bot you need to program it. Or find another editor who can run one for you. Unfortunately I've never done one myself.

Reaching out to past editors was a great idea and I'm sorry it didn't work bettr. You can also try posting on fan-forums or trying to get links to the wiki from other fan sites. But the best way to attract users is to create good content, so when they do stop by they want to stay. -- Wendy (talk) 18:03, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
