Synopsis

No thanks to Cindy, Marcia's diary gets mixed in with books for a charity drive, leading the family on a search for her diary. The reason for the frantic search, is that Marcia's worried someone will find out she has a crush on Desi Arnaz, Jr. In order to cheer Marcia up, Alice contacts Lucille Ball's housekeeper, and requests that the young Arnaz pay Marcia a visit.

Storyline

Marcia's secret celebrity crush is Desi Arnaz Jr.. She writes about her dream of becoming Mrs. Arnaz in her diary, which is hidden away in the garage and about which she doesn't tell anyone either of its existence or its content. When a man comes to pick up boxes of old books Carol is donating to charity, Cindy finds the diary thinking it is just another old book and gives it to the man to take away with the other books. Marcia eventually learns what Cindy innocently did, which nonetheless leads to an angry Marcia vowing never to speak to her ever again.

Marcia is not only saddened by the loss of the diary, but horrified at the notion of anyone reading about her secret innermost feelings, especially about Arnaz. Marcia finally confides in Alice, a fellow diary keeper and writer, who can understand through what she is going. Alice not only takes charge in trying to locate Marcia's diary, but also does something which may make Marcia feel better even if the diary is not found.
